Can you transfer variaudio and audiowarp data?

So my vocalist sent a demo track and I did some playing with it, and then he sent me a version of the same track but without the effects he’d added.

It wasn’t a lot of work and is no problem to redo, but is there some way to apply the data to different track? Could get up to all sorts of shenanigans with the ability to do that.

I’ve never tried it, but maybe worth an experiment?

Close the Cubase project - rename the old audio track file, and give the new audio file exactly the same name as the old one and put it into exactly the same folder as the old one was.

Then re-open the Cubase Project and see if it worked as intended.
