CANCEL Audio Mixdowm Does Not Work. Windows 10. Cubase 10.5.12.

After clicking the Cancel button the Cubase interface is not responsive., Frozen. Meters frozen, everything, except the play head continues to move as the mixdown continues.

In this particular instance Cubase returned to usual after the mixdown finished, i.e., the interface was no longer frozen.

Ok. The second time Cubase remains unresponsive, though the meters dropped down as normal. Playhead stuck at the end of the mixdown section range, and Cubase is unresponsive.

Don’t think that has ever worked, can’t remember Cancel ever being immediate.

In my experience the Cancel is non-existent, and causes additional issues over just not functioning.
