Why is it not possible pressing the escape key for such context menus like this in order to abort the allocation:

I can neither press escape for cancelling nor undo a pressed button that I want to get rid of the list - always have to reset the whole category instead.
Would like being able to delete a single key assignment instead and being able pressing the escape key in order to abort an assignment

When you enter the shortcuts input, escape is the key you define.
Yes, but this is annoying… I don’t want the escape key to be defined for something in VST Live… Escape in my optinion should always abort actions and not be definable by the program itself…
In case you really don’t want to change that behavior, could you at least make it work that the user can click somewhere else in the actions & shortcut menu and that this cancels the allocation of the keyboard shortcut?
Also I’m missing the function to clear a field… Don’t know how I could do this so far (except by resetting the whole category, what I do not want though…)
