Cancel subscription if you buy Lifetime unlock for iPad

A caution to those who buy the Lifetime Unlock for Dorico for iPad:

I had a monthly subscription but bought the Lifetime unlock during the current sale. My purchase did not automatically cancel my iPad subscription so I did that manually. Hopefully, this would have been taken care of automatically in a few days but if you are concerned in similar circumstances, make the effort to cancel your subscription.

No, unfortunately there’s no way for us (or indeed for Apple) to automatically cancel a subscription because you’ve purchased an in-app purchase. So this is something you do need to take care of yourself. We do put up a warning in the app at the point of purchasing the Lifetime Unlock to that effect, but of course that depends on people both noticing and reading the warning!
