Whenever I try to access tokens in a text box it just takes me to project info window. This happens when I double click inside a text box. When I right click I just have options for Filter, Bar Number and Staff Size. I can’t even actuate any text in these boxes. It’s either Project info window or the Filter, bar, staff size options.

These settings default to point you directly to the Project Info Window, as that is the place to input the information which will be displayed in the Page Templates.
Many beginners start editing pages directly by clicking into them, which will lead to page overrides and will stop Dorico to work on the layout aspects.
If you like to change the tokens, best is to edit the Page Templates directly in Engrave Mode.
