This seems to be an issue whereby “flute” won’t match “Flûte”: you have to actually type “flûte”. And of course that can be awkward in the text editor used in the add instrument popover, because it has some restrictions brought about (as I understand it) by the fact that it interacts with the filtered list below.
I simply cannot write Flûte, because everytime I input û, it writes u. I think every French mac owner (at least) has this problem, since I don’t have a “strange” setup…
Yes, I daresay you’re right, but unfortunately it’s not trivial to fix. It’s on our backlog for attention at some point.
