Cannot Enter Whole Bar rests

I need rests in guitar 2 first four bars.

Everywhere else where I have had missing rests I’ve added notes then deleted them again (and ‘hey presto’ rests appear) but here it looks like it will work but, when I delete **the very last note, ** all the rests disappear :face_with_hand_over_mouth:.

I’ve even tried entering explict rests with “Y” key - but nothing is visible.

No doubt there is trivial solution.

Click on the first note in Guitar 2 and in the properties panel on the bottom deselect “starts voice”.
