I don’t know what is going on here. I have the latest version on Nuendo installed but when I am in the control room I simply cannot get any sound out of Nuendo. Switch off CR, go to outputs tab, connect the outputs and it’s fine. Disconnect outputs and switch on CR, zero. I look at the SSL 360 interface software when I am in CR and there is no signal appearing. Go back to the output tabs, connect and then we get signal in the SSL and sound. Go to RX I can hear sound and the LEDs on the SSL are working. I have all my routing in place, the ASIO correct. Has anyone got any idea what hidden button I need to press. It started a few days ago and I have been trying to get things to work ever since.
I agree that while it follows the same logic as the active/inactive of other sections, In the case of the Control Room it could have a little more relevance.
But once you know it’s there it’s no longer a problem.
OP, could you please upload prints of your screen showing the control room tabs (both Main and Inserts) in the right zone plus the Control Room and Outputs tabs in the Connections panel?
Please take the right zone prints while audio was supposed to be playing.
We recently had another user having the problem in this thread:
Problem was a malfunctioning plugin in the inserts!
Twelvetwelve. You nailed it. I kept reading about a blue arrow but thought they were referring to something else and there it is . Thank you so much, every day’s a school day. Best regards.
Hi Henrique, I have been trying to make Nuendo work for days having to default to the outputs tab. Now I know, no worries but it was the 'getting to know! '. CYa
Glad to hear you got it working. It really is a stupid design choice for such a fundamental function.
