Cannot get the Halion Trial version to work

I downloaded the trial version.
I received the author code in my email.
I opened ELicenser Control Center and with my USB stick in, I cut and paste the activation code . It then has the activation code and below it says Halion 4.x Trial. I clicked enter and then I got a message

Cureently there is no eLicenser connected to your comptuer which you can download your license to.

However the stick is connected, and see Cubase 5, Wavelab 7, and Halion Sonic all listed under Licenses. All of these programs also will open up and work.

Found the customer service pages on steinberg’s web site clunky and I was unable to find the right area to get help. No phone number is available in the STates anymore to get assistance. :frowning: Any ideas what I need to do?

Please update your eLicenser Control Center to the latest version:

http://www.elicenser.net/en/latest_downloads.html

  • Download and install the latest version

  • Start the eLicenser Control Center and hit “Enter Activation Code”

  • Now fill in the received activation code from your email and download the license.


    Now you should be able to use the HALion 4 Trial
