Cannot get Yamaha N8 to work with 32 bit Cubase 8

Hi, Downloaded the 32 bit drivers etc from the Yamaha site but when installing it says my OS is incompatible so it doesn’t install
the 64bit version works ok…

any advice appreciated…thanks.

If you have 64 bit OS, you need 64 bit drivers. 32 bit drivers won’t work.

Apps and programs you can have both 32 bit and 64 bit on a 64 bit OS, but the drivers should be the same as OS.

Oh, thanks, obvious now you say it I s’pose, didn’t occur to me cause i’m daft with puters… :unamused:

so I wonder why my N8 will not connect with the 32 bit Cubase 8? :confused:
