Cannot hear sounds on tracks

I am new to Cubase. Mac with IOS 10.15 and Steinberg UR12. I cannot hear the previously recorded tracks. Is it because I can’t select the Direct Monitoring? (It is greyed in Studio Setup window.) If so, how to fix the problem?

Hi and welcome to the forum,

As you have the Monitor button (the orange speaker) enabled on the track, the track is passing through the input signal. If you disable the Monitor button, the track will send the track’s Audio signal to its output.

So the solution is to Disable the Monitor button, please.
