So, with both Nuendo 5.5 and the latest Cubase, EVERY time I create a MIDI file from either DAW, and try to import it into another project I get a full DAW crash. So, I am literally unable to import any MIDI file, including ones from my own computer, into any Cubase or Nuendo project - a BIG problem. I imported the same MIDI files into Presonus Studio One with no problem. What is the issue here?
Could it be you have the settings in your preferences which load a GM instrument for every MIDI channel? Check your MIDI import settings to make sure this isn’t the case.
