Cannot Insert Symbol on all Staves using Alt

Hi,

Based on the manual

If you hold down Alt while inserting a symbol to one staff in a grand staff, this symbol is inserted at corresponding positions on all staves.

I tried this is both Full screen and lower zone, unfortunately does not work. What am I doing wrong please?

What symbol are you trying to insert?
An Expression Map articulation I presume?
If this is the case, I can probably tell you why it doesn’t work.

Now they are working!!!

I thinking for the expression maps, the only requirement is that the staves must have the expression say “sustain legato sord”.
