# Cannot load working project on ipad

I have a working project on my PC but when I try to load it on my iPad it gets as far as displaying the first page and then the screen goes blank. Is there a size limit files on iPad? I am loading it from the PC on my home LAN.

How are the two computers connected? Do they both use cloud storage? It’s possible the project file hasn’t synchronised yet.

Not due to the file size, but indirectly due to what instruments were needed to play it back - yes I’ve experienced something similar with my older more constrained iPad. Especially with Iconica. They warn you about that. The same files on my new iPad had no issues.

The file is on the PC’s hard disk. the connection to the ipad is by the files app. over the local network.

Hey Joe,  
How big is the file and how much RAM does your iPad have? (What generation is it?)  
My 8th gen iPad (3 mb RAM / 128 Gb) cannot handle what a desktop can with its superior RAM and memory…
