Could you please try to resolve by reinstalling Dorico?
If you go to the Steinberg Download Assistant and click the reinstall button but only for Dorico itself, not the sound libraries and plug-ins.
Should that not resolve the issue, please come back and I’ll send you the files with instructions.

I’ve reinstalled Dorico but both it and cubase are still saying " cannot find impulse response file"
So frustrating as I have many old recordings using Reverence.

I have the files clearly in the folder but when I point reverence to them, it won’t let me select them?
You are having the preset files but not the underlying impulse response data for REVerence. Could you please go in Finder to the location /Macintosh HD/LIbrary/Application Support/Steinberg/Content and in that folder (and all subfolders) have a look for any file with FCP_SMT_005_Reverence_ImpulseLibrary in it’s name. Can you find something?
Yes, they are the ones that are needed. And where are they located? Under /Macintosh HD/LIbrary/Application Support/Steinberg/Content/VSTSound ? If so, please do a double click on one of those files, what message do you get then?

Sorry for the late replies but I’m working long hours with no computer access till later in the day.
When I click on them, Steinberg Libray Manager opens saying the sounds are already registered.
Am I missing 02 ?

No, 02 is for some other plug-in that is not included in Dorico.
Then I guess it is a file access right problem. Therefore please open a Terminal window (do a Spotlight search for it) and into that window copy and paste the command
find /Library/Application\ Support/Steinberg/Content -ls > ~/Desktop/SMTGContents.txt
After hitting the Return/Enter key that shall create the file SMTGContents.txt on your Desktop. Please zip that up and post as an attachment to a reply here. Thanks
