Cannot Pan my Guitar!

hi !
I have a ur12 (using OSX Monterey)
No matter which permutation and combination i use for INs and OUTs, The panning control does nothing…
I am plugging my guitar into the guitar input.
Left Stereo Out goes to the left, and Right Stereo Out goes to the right of the Pan field

it actually was sounding in the centre at one point… but i cannot duplicate this…

Or is this normal ?

If you are using direct monitor, the guitar should always be in the center, thats just the way the inputs are wired. But if you monitor through a daw you can pan the channel, in the daw.
