Cannot register 8.5 cubase update

Hello
I just got the new update from 8.0 to 8.5

I installed the update, opend the elicencer, introduced the activation code… and… I get an error…

currently there is no license available which can be updated by your upgrade license… and i get am interdiction CIRCLE cut in 2…

I tryed to go to registration and than → Register ALL elincencers at My steinberg…
Also tyried Register at My steinberg…

STILL nothing…

Are there any workarounds, please? I need this to be working…

Hi Crossroads,

Is your USB-eLicenser (which holds your Cubase Pro 8 license) connected to your system when updating the license?
Should this not be the case, please connect your USB-eLicenser during the activation process.

Should you still encounter issues, please contact Steinberg Support via the Support Form in MySteinberg and state your USB-eLicenser number and activation code.
