Cannot run Cubase 8 on windows 7 64 bit

This Steinberg product does not support ‘Basic and High Contrast Themes’ on Windows operating systems. Please use one of the ‘Aero’ themes that you can set in the Windows Control Panel.

What to do???

Please, make sure, you have a supported graphic card. DirectX 10 and WDDM 1.1 is needed.

Same issue here. I enabled aero and did everything to get it to run but the graphics are not right. I hate aero. it slows down my pc. Is there ANY alternative.?

Hi,

An alternative is to upgrade to Windows 8 or Windows 10 (or Mac OS X).

He doesn’t have enough computer to run Windows 7, I doubt upgrading to Windows 8 or Windows 10 is going to help.

@ShulZ… What are your computer specs?

Actuality win10 is more optimized than win7, gave some of my old computers’ a nice boost.
