Sometimes after working with a track for a while - like a vocal track for instance, it cannot be selected in the track listing. It highlights briefly, then is un-selected. So left or right clicking will not work. The inspector briefly flashes. Then it’s blank. Strange. Quit and re-open - it’s fine. Anyone else had this?

Is any other track selected in this case? If not, then you get to very rare state. There is only one way to get non track selected. This is when you click out of all tracks in the Visibility tab (Inspector). In all other cases one track should be always selected.
Can you select the track in the Visibility tab?
Could you try in Cubase Safe Start Mode, please?
