I wish I could remember which song I was referring to. Clearly it was a rapper and I was impressed with them at the time, but I can’t remember which lol.

Many thanks - enabling ‘audio alignment’ on the tool bar worked for me. (Cubase Pro 12)

Same problem still exists in Cubase 13! But a GREAT compliment for the solution member of this topic.
