After logging onto your Steinberg account from the Web Browser, you should see a separate OS-based dialog box asking if you if you want to “Allow” the browser session to open SDA. Your options should be “Allow” and “Always Allow.” Once you click “Allow,” SDA should re-launch and use the authorization call-back method to “pass” your SB Portal auth token back to SDA (thus completing the auth round-trip).
I take it you don’t see the “Allow” dialog? It may be hidden by some other window. If you’ve confirmed you don’t see it, reinstalling SDA should refresh the plist file’s app handler. My guess is you’re not seeing that dialog. An SDA reinstall can’t hurt.
