Want to change from Congas to bongos and the option is not there as in other instruments.
Have created another part for now and copied music across.
Any ideas?
You don’t “change Instruments” in Dorico. Just write your music in the Congas and Bongos and Dorico will automatically create the instrument changes for you when you view your Layout (if Instrument Changes are enabled).
Can you upload a project or even screenshot of your situation?
Sorry I was unclear. I meant changing the instrument in the set up - no longer want the part to be for congas, There is normally the option to change instrument?
Perhaps because it is a Percussion Kit. What appears when you click on the three dots next to Congas?

Coming from Finale so still learning (though have to say I’m flying around Dorico now, its brilliant)
Just seen the help page about percussion kits, how to edit, add instruments, remove instruments. It is indeed a percussion kit!
