Can't create start-repeat: may be caused by multple time signatures?

Apologies if this is alrady being discussed somewhere—I did look! I’ve been working on setting the opening pages of Feldman’s For Philip Guston, which uses three simultaneous time signatures: I’ve arrived at the first group of 8 repeated bars, but I can’t persuade Dorico to change the barline to start-repeat. I suspect it’s something to do with the polymeter and may just be unsolvable at the moment, but I thought I’d ask. I’ve attached the source material, my file and a short grab of my attempt to imput the barline.

You will have to enter the repeats as local barlines.

Bless you @Craig_F , that’s exactly what I needed! Of course I’d been using local entry for the time sigs, but it never occurred to me to do the same for the barlines. Must get better at using the popovers… It would be good to get the repeat markings before the signatures as in the source material, but I’ll certainly take this!

I believe holding down <alt> while clicking the Icon in the side panel will work as well.

Yes, you’re right, I just tried it. Awesome!
