Can't deactivate my license on Activation manager

Hello, are there activation limits? I have 3 licenses but I deactivate the license on my desktop to give it to the laptop. Today I deactivated the license on my desktop to transfer it to the laptop, but now it tells me that I have to activate the license instead of deactivating it. The strange thing is that I can use Cubase normally, but with the desktop license bugged.

Have you tried to log in to your account on the Steinberg website?

It has a self service section called “Licensed Devices” ( for managing your activations.

Yes, I looked for that option but it says I don’t have any active devices

Are you sure you’re using the right account, where your licenses are registered?

If you’re 100% sure you are using the correct account when logging into the Steinberg website, then I suspect you may have to contact Steinberg support.

p.s. I’m just a regular user - like almost everyone here.

P.S. : Does your Cubase show up as a purchased product when you look on the Steinberg website?

Yes, my Cubase appears as a purchased product when I check it on the Steinberg website.

Are you sure, you are logged into the correct account on the Steinberg Activation manager on your laptop?

Yes, I am sure because it is the account to access the Steinberg Activation Manager

Sorry - Then I have no idea what might be happening. This may need the help of official Steinberg support.

Ok, thank you so much
