I did a select all then delete but there were 2 hidden dynamics in the score. They aren’t attached to anything and selecting and hitting delete doesn’t remove them.
How does one get rid them?

I guess they were just artifacts. Switching to engrave mode and back cleaned them up.

Be sure to be in Write mode when you hit Delete; most things cannot be deleted in Engrave or other modes.
