How can I delete a track that has been automaticaly added when I dragged a mid in the arranger window?
Cubase created a Halion Sonic SE track withou asking and now there’s now way to get rid of it!
I don’t want to mask it, I want to remove it from the project and the VSTi panel for good.
In the VSTi panel click on the name and select “No VST Instrument” for delete.
Check under preferences => Midi => Midi File. You can set the destination to Midi Tracks to prevent VSTis from loading on midi import.
nope. that doesn’t work in cubase 14 pro
Which part doesn’t work?
I finally got the menu to drop in theVSTi menu F11. In the side window it did not drop and and I couldn’t.
Thanks to all!
That’s strange! Maybe a C14 bug? Others can check it please: I still am not on C14?
There are several inconsistencies I’m trending. However I just got back in the chair from a long absence so I’m not going to jump to conclusions.
But yeah, might be.
Thanks for replying!
The side window on the right for VSTi. If I go to F11 an independent floating window appears and looks the same. In that F11 window for VSTi I was able to get the drop down for the channels and deactivate simply.
To stop the Halion track being created by adding a midi file. Change the the setting in the preferences.
To remove any track including the created Halion instrument track. Select the track, right click and select remove selected tracks.
