Can't download Dorico 6

I bought the upgrade to Dorico 6 and got sent an email about using the Download Assistant Setup App. I’m a Mac user (Mac OS Verntura 13.0.1), but when I try to use the Download Assistant, it won’t work at all, giving me messages that say in essence the Download Assistant is no longer functional.

I have no way to download Dorico 6, and I a WAY beyond frustrated. I can’t find any way to email Steinberg for help.

I’ve been an enthusiastic Dorico user since v. 1.0, and I’ve always considered Steinberg to be one of the most customer-friendly companies I’ve ever done business with, but this is making me crazy.

What the heck do I do?

Please try to download the latest version of the download assistant itself.

Older versions suffer from ssl connection problems.

Yes, reinstall the Download Assistant with Dorico closed. I don’t recall the earliest macOS that Steinberg’s software can use but you might want to check that, too. I’m on a Mac with Tahoe 26.4 with no issues at all.

Ventura is still supported by Dorico 6.
