Can't Download License (eLicenser issue - Steinberg UR44)

Purchased a UR44
Following page 6 of instruction booklet - section “Downloading the License (Activation)”.
Get the following error after entering the activation code:

Currently, there is no eLicenser connected to your computer which you can download your license to. Please connect an appropriate USB-eLicenser to your computer. In case you do not have any USB-eLicensers available and want to download the license to a so-called “Soft-eLicenser”, please contact the software vendor of your product, to learn how to create a Soft-eLicenser on your computer system.

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

you have no Soft-eLicenser in your eLCC.

The instructions in the link say, “Uninstall the program you want to activate by moving it from the Applications folder to the Trash.”

So, which program would this be? eLincenser? dspMixFX? Cubase AI 8? Or something else?

The program you want to activate would be Cubase.

Working. I removed everything I could (which was everything but Cubase - couldn’t uninstall). Thanks for that link.
