Can't download newly purchased Dorico Elements

Hi all, hope you can help. I had the free version of Dorico 6 which has been great but I realise I need the ‘engrave’ function so I upgraded to Dorico Elements. Before doing so I deleted Dorico 6.

I went through all the steps and I can now see Dorico Elements in both Steinberg Activation Manager and when I log in to my Steinberg account.

The problem is in my apps I can only see Dorico 6 even though I have deleted it. There is no option to download Dorico Elements, on my Steinberg account there is a toggle but no option to download.

Can you let me know if I’m missing anything, waiting for support to get back in touch but need Dorico Elements ASAP.

All versions of Dorico use the same app (Dorico 6). It is the license you have that enables/disables certain functions. When you load Dorico 6 it will alert you to the version (SE, Elements or Pro) on the splash screen.

Thank you for getting back to me, I get no such notification when loading Dorico 6 as you can see from the screenshots. I purchased Elements and can see it when I log into the steinberg website and on Steinberg Activation Manager but not on the actual app. Please help, I need to use the ‘engrave’ function to a job I am doing.

Hi @Tracy_Rose - could you try opening Steinberg Activation Manager and checking to see if you see the Dorico Elements 6 license in your list?

If it is there, the next step is to check that it’s activated.

That looks promising. If you close and reopen Dorico now, does it launch as Dorico Elements 6?
