Can't Edit Chord Symbol

In the attached project there are several instances where the chord symbol has alterations of (#11,#9), such as bar 13 and bar 26. I’m currently using the Finale Jazz Text Lowercase font. The extensions appear as natural signs rather than sharp signs. I tried going into the engrave mode and double-clicking one of the offending chords, and then clicking on the extension (see attached screenshot). Since it won’t allow only changing the natural signs, I tried clicking on the Academico italic font near the top left, and this changed the natural signs to sharp signs (see other screenshot). Although this chord would then have a different font than the others, that’s adequate for current purposes. When I hit the ok button and go back to the score, the chord has not changed. How can I change the alterations to sharps?

You should read what Todd is saying in the link below. You can get around it by changing the scale factor for stacked alteration to min 76 under Library->Engraving Options->Chord Symbols->Design.

Both the Petaluma font and changing the scaling of the stacked alterations works. I prefer a fully supported font, so I’ll change my template to Petaluma. Thanks for the help!
