Hallo,
i have imported an musicxml-file from Sibelius. Now i can’t edit the drums and all notes are on one line, see attached file Dorico.jpg.
Any Ideas ?
Unpitched percussion has not yet been implemented. SOme people have found a (non-playable) work-around by changing the clef to a G, F, or invisible clef or by redefining the percussion clef one of the Dorico support files.
Be advised that drum notation issue has been discussed many times in this forum…(not scolding) and also has been noted to be one if not the main priority for the next update…seeing that Daniel’s team is indeed trying to be thorough in putting out a rich full featured implementation of a needed tool/function (see this last update’s long awaited chord implementation)…drum notation should be well worth the wait!
