Cant figure out how to get a page to pickup changes to flow heading

Made a change to a flow heading, but the changes aren’t appearing in the score. I read that you have to remove all the overrides from the page to get that to happen, but then I’ll lose a ton of editing (text boxes) and will have to redo the work. Is there anyway to get the page to pickup the flow heading changes without remove all the overrides on the page?

No, there is not.

I know it’s not helpful to you now, but this is why the usual recommendation is to save all page-level edits to the very end of the layout process. If you find that you need to add/move “a ton” of text frames on a page, you could create a new template for that page instead of editing the page directly, which would prevent page overrides.

I am “at the end”. I just noticed that the spacing in the flow header isn’t quite right.

Just tested, but it seems changes to the flow header do reflect in pages with overrides.

Not if you’re adding frames or (I think) changing spacing.

It seems so.

But changing font or size, or text do.

That seems to jibe with my situation. I changed fonts in some of the text boxes (which did get picked up), but resizing and repositioning the boxes didn’t.
