I just downloaded Cubase 15. I want to change the automation to auto latch, but can’t find the automation panel. F6 doesnt work and it is not listed under Project. When I hit the e tab I get the quantize panel. What am I doing wrong?

which Cubase 15 version do you use? The automation panel is a Cubase Pro feature only.
Elements,that explains it. That really sux. So there is no way to change the automation settings? How can that be?
Automation in Elements has no settings. It is a very simple version.
Im actually coming from Cubase 5 and that had it. Whats next the record button will only be the Pro version 
. Well I guess Steinberg gets another $200. Thanks for the help folks.

. The thing is I probably wont use most of what they are giving you in Pro. I am doing live recording for the most part. Maybe they should start selling features a la carte.

Coming from Cubase Elements 5, you are up for a treat! You’ll probably be blown away by all the cool new possibilities that are now at your disposal.
I would suggest to view “What’s new in Cubase version x” videos on Youtube to catch up. MixdownOnline by Chis Selim is my fav channel for Cubase related tutorials by far.

Yes I see that, I am glad I got it. I see it does have alot of additional features that will come in handy. Now I need a new control surface to replace my Radikal Sac 2.2. Hahahahaha. A never ending persuit of gear.
