Can't find continuation type with playing techniques

Hi,

When editing playing techniques I’ve already entered into the score, sometimes I can select “Continuation type” from the properties panel and sometimes I can’t. This happens even with the same type of playing technique. For example, at one place I can edit the continuation type for “arco”, but in another place when selecting a different “arco” the properties panel does not display “Continuation type” as an option. What am I missing?

If the Playing Technique is attached to a single note, it cannot have a continuation (because there’s nowhere for such a continuation line to go).

You should be able to extend the length of a selected playing technique using Shift+Alt+right arrow. Once it has a duration, it can show a continuation line.
