Can't find "Show player name instead of instrument names"

I am well aware this could be something super simple but all the documentation says there’s a toggle in Layout Options to “Show player name instead of instrument names” and I can’t seem to find it. What am I missing? TIA!

Welcome to the Dorico forum, @thassett.

Unless it is not in the version you are using (eg Elements or SE, and/or maybe an older version of Dorico), my guess is that it is probably not visible because the scroll bar at the bottom needs to be moved to the right.

Oh my goodness – I was a longtime Sibelius user and got pretty good at it, now I feel like I just opened a computer for the first time!

Because of the sheer number of options/settings, etc. in Dorico, to view some of them you need to scroll down and/or sideways and, particularly in Engraving Options, some even have Advanced Options which you can view by clicking on the small disclosure triangle at the left.
