Can't find transpose

Hey all!

I just upgraded to Cubase 8 pro and can’t find the quick transpose thing in the field above the sequencer. I use this all the time to try things out. Is there any way to get it back to that field? Or what can I do alternatively to quickly transpose audio or midi?

You mean, in the Info Line?
If you aren’t seeing “Transpose” in there, you can right-click in a balnk space in the Info Line, and customize what will be visible there.

For a MIDI track, in it’s Inspector, click ‘MIDI Modifiers’ and you’ll see ‘Transpose’ there.
You can change the numbers or drag the slider.
You most likely have to select the track first - can’t quite remember.

The difference between the two methods is:
Transposing via the inspector will change the pitch for every MIDI Part on the track.
Transposing via the info line lets you do it on a part by part basis - so you could duplicate a part several times and have it transpose by a different amount for each copy.
