Can't find why there is an extra part in the score!

Hi Folks

I was cleaning up a score, and was altering names…I had exploded a part…in this case, the “horn 3 all parts” into 4 separate horn parts (horn 3 (1) - horn 3 (4).

In the full score view, one of the old names, horn 3 shows up (it was renamed as Horn 3 (1) ) in the score view but I can’t find out how to get rid of it, as it is not in any of the player lists or layouts.

Can you help me find where it lives so I can delete it?

The staff labels show instrument names, and if you look at the instruments held by your players, you’ll see the the “Horn (F) 4 (1)” player is holding an instrument called “Horn (F) 3”. You can edit the name of that instrument to match the 3 below it.

Edit: BTW, it’s not an “extra” staff – you have 12 players set up, and 12 staves in your score.
