Can't get a signal or audio and soft elicenser activation code?

Hi I’m unable to get any audio I’ve checked studio setup and VST; putting my sound card as the driver ASIO but still no luck. I was wondering if this is due to my soft elicenser not having an activation code as I did try dragging the licenses into the elicenser column but it wouldn’t let me transfer.

If your license wouldn’t work, you wouldn’t start Cubase at all. So your license issue (if there is any) is something different.

Are you on Mac or Windows?

I would recommend to watch Steinberg Cubase Quick Start Video Tutorials.

Be aware, some menu entries has been renamed since Cubase 10:

  • Devices = Studio
  • Device Setup = Studio Setup
  • VST Connections = Audio Connections
