Can't get bass clef in the right spot

I am unable to get the bass 8 clef just before the semiquavers in the 3:2 because of the grace notes, it would seem. If I move the clef with Ctrl-RightArrow it jumps to the second semiquaver dyad. This is not correct and it’s driving me crazy Mr Steinberg.

Any ideas?

There really are a lot of issues with grace notes. For example. you can’t attach dynamics to them/ There is no musical justification for this, so it’s a bad defect.

Edit: @JAMES_GILBERT has the correct answer.

Hi @Andro, you can obtain what you need (I hope I understand your request correctly) if you write one more grace note, split the beam for it, hide notehead and stem and suppress playback. Then select it and apply the desired clef: it will be look as being positioned before the sixteenth notes:

You can then adjust the graphical position of the clef to compensate for the space of the hidden note:

And finally adjust the grace notes position:

Select the clef. Right click->Clef->After grace note. (I ran into this issue a few weeks ago. A google search pointed me in the right direction). Edit: I re-found the link to a forum post [SOLVED] Clef change after grace notes - #4 by Alexander_Ploetz

@JAMES_GILBERT Brilliant. Right Click-> After Grace Notes does the exact right thing. Thank you!

You can input dynamics on grace notes.

Just for a test and to see if @Andro maybe experienced a problem with specific dynamics I entered a p, hairpin and cresc. without a problem on gracenotes
