Can't get sound from an MPC Beats + Cubase 13 setup

Hi,
My daughter is entering the music conservatory, we have purchased for her the M Audio oxygen 49. I installed both MPC Beats + Cubase 13. But no sound is coming from either the computer or the master keyboard.
I don’t know what to do, and truely need help, please. Is it because it’s defective or just a wrong setting ?

Je sais plus quoi faire, j’ai vraiment besoin d’aide SVP. Est ce par ce qu’il est défectueux ou juste un mauvais réglage.

I think that the MPC Beats and Cubase 13 are acting as duplicates, actually, and I don’t see how the former could receive/send MIDI messages from Cubase 13. So, could you post here a screenshot of your Studio > Studio Setup > MIDI Port Setup panel ?

Beside this, another one showing your project with the involved track(s) used would also be useful.

it works as a plugin inside Cubase it works I use it … U can drag your sequences between the the 2 . if you have a hardware MPC you can use it as a MIDI controller and an external instrument into the Audio interface .

just check your settings (midi and audio on both apps ) the routing has to be setup
