Can't hear the Metronome in Cubase 15 Pro with or without Control Room

Hi everyone,

I upgraded from Cubase 14 Pro to 15 Pro yesterday and I am unable to hear the click in 15 Pro. Either I go the Control Room way or just Stereo outputs way, just cant figure out why has this happened after upgrading? Have checked every setting suggested on this forum and YouTube and all the setting are fine. Here’s a small YT clip showing all my settings for both the approaches - Control Room and just Outputs. Can someone help me figure what’s going wrong?

@Martin.Jirsak Any suggestions?

P.S - Forgot to show it in the video, but the Audio Click Level under Metronome Setup > Click Sounds is at 120. So that setting seems fine too.

In the Video you didnt check the Click-Sounds tab. Look up of something is wrong there.

Hi,

How is the Metronome Setup > Click Sounds setup? What happens, if you click on Start here?

Could you try in the Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please?

@wolfger @Martin.Jirsak Thank you for pointing me in the right direction! Turns out, in the Click Sounds tab, Click Sound Presets was set to Default sound. As soon as I chose one of the sounds (clave) there, the metronome is back. Phew

Thank you for the help! :slight_smile:
