Can't hide top staff, even when empty

I’m sure I’m missing an option somewhere, but the first staff in my system (an empty vocal staff) will not hide. I have the staff visibility options under vertical spacing set correctly. I’ve selected the bars of the staff and hit delete to remove any content I might not have noticed. Still nothing. I feel like I’m missing some other option, but can’t for the life of me think of what it is.

Ach, nevermind. I found it. I had “show chords” set for the vocal staff for some reason.

If you have a look in your context menu under „Staff“, you can manually hide staves.
