I have tried importing various wav files into the Hub, in a new Project. The wav files are from various sources. For every single one I get an “invalid project file” error message. I bought this program for editing and adding tracks to my existing tracks that are wav files, so it is useless to me if I can’t upload those files. Please help!
Import WAV files into Cubase by dragging and dropping them directly into the project timeline, or using File > Import > Audio File

Can you please explain what were you doing to import files in a project?
You need to open - create a project first.
