Can't insert notes

hello,

I can’t insert any notes now, since the button “begin the writing” (shift N) doesn’t activate when clicking on it or deactivates itself when activated after a while ?

What are you clicking on?

Just double-click in a bar, or select something in the bar and press Enter, or Shift N.

Does that work?

Nothing works. I know those methods to activate the writing mode : the result is no activation OR activation followed by deactivation after a short while

Looking at the application logs, the Escape key is being triggered hundreds of times per second.
