I’m running 10.10.2 Yosemite on my Mac Mini, but whenever I try to install Elements 7 I get an error message that says that I must be running at least OS X 10.6. Of course I am running a HIGHER level than 10.6, so this would appear to be covered, but I can’t seem to get past it.
Now for the noob Q: I mostly want to use Elements to play MIDI files on my Korg Triton Pro using my Creative EMU XMIDI 1X1 USB MIDI Interface. I know the interface works because when I launch the Audio MIDI Test utility on the Mac and hit the test key I get sound out of my keyboard. How do I set up Elements to play MIDI files accordingly? Is there a better/easier/cheaper MIDI file player for the Mac (couldn’t find one)?
