Hi!
Running windows 8.1 and trying to update my Cubase Pro 8 to the new 8.0.20 version but I get an error where it says:
“The file “VSTPlugManager.dll” cannot be installed becouse the file cannot be found in cabinet file “PCW_CAB_Pt8020”. This could indicate a network string, a string reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package”
It’s just for the 32-bit version I get the error (64-bit installed fine).
Have tried the Microsoft fixit program, and reinstalling cubase 8 completely with no success.
When i manually open the update installer i can locate the “VSTPlugManager.dll” in the specified cabinet file but the installer just gives the same error message. (Followed by “update installation failed. error code: 1603”)
Anyone encountered the same issue?
