Can't manually Automate VST's

Hello I was able to manually automate anything in Native instruments in Cubase 6. now in Cubase 7 I try doing read and write, and it does not read or create automation. When I click show all used automation nothing opens. Am I missing something? Please help

Which NI Instrument exactly do you use? Do you use 32- or 64-bit Cubase (and plug-in)?

Using NI’s razor and EastWest’s play (all up to date) 64 bit system

Are your plug-ins also 64-bit?
