I have a few instruments in a score, but when play the score, it has all sounds, but the mixer volume meter is not moving at all, and the mute button is also not working. the solo button just mute all the instruments. Can somebody help? thanks!
It sounds like all of the signal from your VST plug-in is being returned on a single output, rather than each channel in the plug-in being returned on its own output.
If you’re using one of Dorico’s factory playback templates, I would recommend simply reapplying the template in Play > Playback Template.
If you’re using a custom playback template, check the configuration of the VST plug-in or plug-ins you’re using and make sure that each channel is set to return on a different output.
Wow, it worked! Thank you! But I don’t know why this happened… the only problem I can think of is I added a few instrument then deleted them. I didn’t mess with any playback template at all.
