Hi,
All of a sudden I can’t record audio on my latest project.I check the input routing, record enable and monitor. All is fine. I can hear the sound via the monitor (headphone) and the input level on my scarlett 2i2 is all good. But nothing records (flat signal).
I can record as usual on old files/projects and on brand new projects, so I assume it’s not a problem with the audio device. So I don’t get why it won’t work with the latest file I was working on.
Any help would be appreciated,

Could you try to save the project as new version or Backup project? Does work on the backuped project, now?

I had a similar issue but then found this topic :

“you need to go into Security & Privacy and allow Cubase to access your microphone…”
It fixed the issue for me. But you can record on old projects and brand new ones, so your problem may be totally different…
