Can't record Midi

hello,
when I want to record Midi live, the Midi record mutes my VST and writes nothing. At the stop, the midi track disappears.
I reinstalled Nuendo via “downlaod assitant”. same problem… And on all projects.
Do you have any ideas?

Is it possible that delay compensation go turned off? I’m just guessing right now.

it’s the same problem for all my projects, I reinstalled Nuendo via “download manager”. same thing.
I read a forum where someone had the same problem.
He just completely reinstalled Nuendo;
I reinitialized all my midi, sameboot PC…
I use Cubase /Nuendo sinc e20 years …
I have no solution…

So when nuendo is “parked” (not rolling), you can play your vsti? Just when you go to record, no midi notes get recorded? What about cc data?

Help us help you:

  1. Which version of Nuendo?
  2. Which computer and operating system?
  3. Which interface / MIDI interface?
  4. Are the drivers for everything correct / up to date?
  5. Is your MIDI track in record mode (red button), or only input mode(yellow button)?

Can you send us a screenshot of your edit window showing the affected track?
